After many years of waiting...an FC!
My name is Robbie, and I just got an FC![IMG][/IMG]
That's her right there. She's an 87 turbo II i have dreamed of owning since i could dream of owning a car. The body despite looking a little rough in the picture is nearly rust free, save for a few surface rust spots. the s4 engine has s5 manifolds, and the turbo set up along with other goodies i have been sorting though. The engine is being torn down for i suspect was an incompetent rebuild (engine was pulled a freshly crashed s4 from out of state with a recently rebuild) as when i went to turn the motor over to check how well it spun coolant was gurgling from the radiator hose. I hope to learn much more from the community here, and that knowledge will lead me to build a strong street machine.

I bought the car and engine for a total of 1,400. The engine was rebuilt with all new apex seals, side seals, rotor seal kits and the works. The history on the car a bit of a story, but i have time to kill. The car orignally came from a southern state (can't remember off the top of my head) The PO had two other turbo II and an fb gutted, caged with a built 13b that he autcrossed. His orignal plan was to swap an LS1 into the car he bought, but someone made him a nice offer so he sold it. about 2 months later he found the car on craigstist again. ( it was bought as b day present for some young kid who slapped an full turbo back exhaust on it and beat it on) engine blown, hood half sanded. He bought it back for basicly free. I picked it up after about a 2 hour talk and chat about rx7's and rotaries in general. He picked up the engine out out state as mentioned in the intro.

The hardest part is going though the 3 boxes of spare goodies that were also thrown in at no charge which had alot of things from the kids front mount intercooler. Hence the white bumper, the orginal was thrown away.

Rough estimate on where you are at in Wisconsin?
Im in the greater Madison area, always cool to meet up with other RX owners around here. I dont know too many since most seem to squirrel them away in a shed or a barn around here haha.
