After 20 years, finally have my first FD!

Just picked up a 93 R1 (NU) that is now sprayed white, my guess is not factory chaiste but I'm not sure. I've wanted one of these cars forever. Super happy to be in this chassis, very light, superbly designed suspension, sexy body lines! Rather than buy a project, I wanted to wait until I found something well put together. An absolute must was a very correctly and cleanly done LS1 (very devisive subject I know) and after driving this thing, I'm in love, it's an amazing experience. I've been using the forum SEARCH function for weeks and have learned so much, it's amazing how much knowledge there is to absorb. Tuesday did plugs and wires, wednesday did a coolant system flush, water pump and Tstat, thursday plastidipped the centers black and left the 3 and 4" polished lips, last night rolled my fenders (moderate roll minimal or zero pull, only the slightest paint cracking inside on 2 fenders barely visible, turned out great) and today my body and paint tech is sanding and spraying 7 total small areas to clean this thing up so the exterior looks right. Bored/stroked/port n' polished heads/cams/80mmTB/intake has this thing at 480 at the wheels, fun as hell! TIA for all the help and see ya around!

Congrats! I’m on the same path. My friends had fds. I saw one driving past my house and decided I might want to pick one up.

Congrats FDs Are beautiful! They have aged like a fine Wine! And despite what some say I completely understand the appeal of a nice LS swap! Would love to see some Pics!

Thank you for the warm welcome! Next up are coilovers, raise this thing a bit to get some more tire under there, not feeling the previous owners serious stretch at all. Time to track down a full set of bushings to do before coils/allignment... not looking forward to tracking them all down!
