Just purchased a 88 Vert that is mechanically in pretty good shape, but, the seats are a train wreck at best which on a 21 year old car is expected.

I see lots of leather replacement kits available, but, what I don't know is how hard is it to actually do? I'm not an upolstry guy, never done it, but it looks striaght forward enough.

I'm looking to restore my Vert not mod it (hey I like the speakers in the head rest what can I say)

Any advice is greatly appreciated.

 

Well they have synthetic leather covers on ebay for 200 shipped..
