VA About to get my first RX7

I'm in the process of trading for my first RX7, I'm pretty sure I will be getting the car and it has some issues so I'm sure I'll be posting in other areas asking questions. The car is a 88' 10th anniversery Turbo 2, it's not in the best condition but nothing I buy is in good condition when I get it. I'm a diesel tech, I currently play with a G-body El Camino with a built 406 as a drag car, and a 84' blazer 4x4 I go mudding with. This car will replace my daily driver and be used for the same thing, my old dd was a Geo metro 3 banger, I used to live farther from work and now don't need 40+ mpg's. Mostly I don't want to be pointed and laughed at for what I drive which actually happened in the metro mutiple times! The rotary engine has interested me since I was in tech school for diesel, now I get to play with one and it's a turbo at that. Like I said more newby questions will shurly follow.

Thanks,
Tony

Thank you, Tony, for registering with the website! I know you'll find all the info you need to get that '88 RX-7 screaming through the mountains of VA! And a 10th AE, of all things!

Welcome aboard!

You will get flamed if you post questions that have been seen a thousand times before in the REGULAR boards but NOT in the New Member RX-7 Tech section. Just remember that the New Member RX-7 Tech section covers all 3 generations of RX-7, so make sure you mention what year car you have. If ANYONE over in that board replies, "Use the search engine," PM me ASAP because I want to know, so I can correct that person.

As long as the question is about RX-7's, as long as the question is technical in nature, you can ask anything...even if the long-timers have seen it one hundred thousand times before. It gives the members like me a chance to act like we know something and answer posts like "professionals."
