CA '95 MazdaRX7 Owner

Just wanted to introduce myself and get involved in the Club! My name is Kathy. I have owned three RX7s. The first was a 1980 previously owned by a construction guy who drove a truck to work every day and only took it out on weekends. I bought it in the fall of 1985 and it had 4,000 miles on it. A drunk driver hit me from behind and totaled it right after I had paid it off. It performed so well in the accident, I bought another one. The second one was a 1991 Turbo. I loved that car! It was better than sex! What a thrill. Awesome piece of equipment! I moved to a farm on a dirt road and it just wasn't practical so I had to sell it. My third RX7 which I am now driving is a super thrill too! I love the twin turbos. I've spanked everything normal on the road. I haven't come up against any exotics yet but I just moved to LA and am seeing more of the exotics around town. Hopefully, someone will want to take me on. My 1995 RX7 is completely restored and stock. I also added a three thousand dollar stereo / navigation system to it. It rocks!

I just moved to LA from WA and am looking for a good mechanic who will keep my car tuned up for me. The guys at University Mazda in Seattle treated my car like a rock star every time it came in to be worked on. They put the new engine and turbos in, new brakes, all new hoses and belts, etc. They are awesome if you need a good RX7 mechanic in Seattle!

Welcome

Here is a link to the regional forum for Western states:
https://www.rx7club.com/west-rx-7-forum-193/

Might want to do a search on that section for threads on where to go. It will vary depending where you are in LA.

There are a bunch of shops in that area but I don't know their names off the top of my head.
