94 FD, Back on the Road
Hi All,
Well this is a re-introduction of sorts. I got my FD in 2000. Had a great time with it with - Fair weather car and track days. Not without problems through. After going through engine #2, the car sat for a while as i contemplated a V8 conversation. After pulling the trigger, it basically took forever. More effort than expected plus life got in the way.
Well, the good news is back on the road with the LS1. Plenty of power (400 RWH), but I got to say I do miss the wail of the rotary! Nothing quite like it. (Although two stroke dirt bikes and Japanese superbikes are in the same realm. )
So I got humpty dumpty back together and back on the road. Have a dead strut(s) and need to clean up the shifter a bit, but looking like track days are in the near future.
Look forward to seeing some of you at some of the Northeast tracks. I added some photos to my gallery. A rag-tag collection albeit for now.
