Hi All,

So I have to make ten posts to qualify to go shopping here so here goes. I bought an 82 silver FB GS back in 95 and wrote it off in 96. I was replaced by an 83 GSL I beleive (it had power windows and a roof). This spring I bought an 85 GS as part of an early mid life crisis. The current 7 came with a cheapo exhaust with Ractive muffle and stock manifold. It does a mean 1 wheel peel on 15 inch panaspot replicas with Dunlop Direzza 205/50/15s. By my calculations it has a 4.44 axel and my android phone tells me the 0-60 is in the 7.2s-7.5 ish second range on the stock nikki and stock intake with the choke removed.

Nice to be on the team guys,

David

I'm using a k&n e1080 from a jeep CJ with a tupperware lid to seal the narrower gap. Why? Because the e2700 is $100 plus tax here in Toronto and the e1080 was forty bucks CAD. I've got EGR and choke delete. The air pump belt is gone. I've zip tied the secondaries to the throttle and I have to reseal the intake due to green puddles on the engine.

Here a link to a pic of my ride. It's the blue one on the right. The brown one is owned by a guy who runs a drum shop around the corner from me.
