30 years of 7's

Hi everyone. My name is Mike and I have owned every generation of the U.S. versions of the RX7. The first gen I bought in 1980, second gen in 1986, and third gen in 1994, which I still own. I was one of only a few hundred of the original RX7 club Rotary Rocket members back in the 1980's. In my old age (way after mid life crisis), I now am interested in modding and tuning my 94FD. I was an old car restorer back in my early years ('57 Chevy). I look forward to many tips on improving the performance of my rocket that goes Hmmmmm.

Welcome from another 30 year RX-7 owner in Alabama.

I had an 80 LS until 92 and my current 90 GXL since then. No plans to mod it though.

wthdidusay82,
MY car was stock until 2004, when a car detail guy taking my car to be detailed blew up my original engine showing off to his friends. He was going down a neighborhood street at 130 mph in 100 degree heat. What an idiot!!! He did this with my car and did not pay for any of the repairs or even the tow charge. It was then modified (Exhaust, intake, intercooler, PFC, 99 spec turbos, struts, and necessary other mods), but I did none of the work myself and did not have it tuned, used just the PFC base map. Also, I had a new street ported and 3-mm apex seal engine put in to replace the blown motor. I only drove the car until 2007 then had vacuum problems, suspension problems(shot), etc. It is now completely repaired and ready for its next life. I what to continue to mod it and tune it myself. Will be putting in a wideband in the next several weeks.

I would of sued if possible, that's definitely negligence.

I have an 87 turbo2 I'm working on getting its problems diagnosed. I'll soon be attempting to get it running as soon as I get a good battery.
