NY 25 years since the last RX7

Hi Everyone: My name is Jon. Last drove a 1980 RX7 with many many miles and great memories. Now older and much more gray hair I find myself with a new toy/project. Just acquired a 1986 Gen II with 16K on the odometer. Been in storage for 22 years. Will need some fuel system work and much more I'm sure but I've got 3 years until my daughter wants it for her first car!!! Hoping for some great advice on hear and even some helping hands in the Albany NY area would be welcome!! Can't wait to get her back on the road. Thanks Jon

Thanks for registering, Jon, and welcome aboard to RX-7 Club! There's def some steps you need to take before awakening that FC but that situation has been encountered here plenty of times before, so a little reading on either the New Member tech board or the 2ndgen tech board's FAQ page will get you started in the correct direction.

Congrats on the "barnyard" find!

Welcome!

Thats pretty cool that your getting back into the Rotary after a 25 year hiatus. I'm kind of doing the same thing here. But its only been about 5 years for me since my last Rotary. But sadly, those 5 years were all I needed in order to forget everything I knew about these Mazda's. lol

Good luck to you on your restoration.

-Alex.
