VA 25 years getting here

Hi all! I've wanted an 84 RX-7 for a very long time. Instead of replacing my F-150 with something contemporary, I decided to get one before they were all long gone. I got lucky, so far. I've had it now for 10 days and loving every minute. I want to keep it stock and running as a daily driver, so I'm looking forward to good advice and hopefully the ability to payback at some point.

I'm located in Yorktown in case anyone cares. Cheers!

Mario,

Thank you for the kind welcome. My name is Will, and I found my '84 on eBay. I was looking local and online. I passed on an '83 in Fort Walton Beach 5 years ago for just about the same money, but not in as good a shape. I've got papers that trace ownership back to the original in PA. I'm the 4th and the guy I picked it up from was retired Air Force motorpool. Best part of the deal was that he stood behind the condition of the car to the point that if I got it in my hands and decided it wasn't worth it, he'd let me out of the deal with no hard feelings. I'm not disappointed.

This is actually the second vehicle I've pulled from eBay. The first was a 1993 Honda ST1100 motorcycle. I bought that in 2003. It had 80000 on the clock and I didn't pay much. It's in the garage ready to go at any time. I've rolled the clock up to 115000 and my wrench told me to bring it in at 200000 and we'll give it a tune up.

I'm hoping to source all the info I can to keep my '84 GSL on the road as a DD. So far my expectations are being exceeded on all counts.

Will
