1991 RX-7 in Madison, WI
Sam, in case the user name didn't give it away. Just bought a 1991 RX-7 NA last night and it's beautiful but full of small things to be fixed. Already read a ton and decided to join.
I'm a metrologist (yes that's spelled correctly) during the day and run a small car stereo business on the nights/weekends. Mostly labor but I carry a few nicer brands like Zapco and CDT. According to the PO this car hasn't seen winter so I plan to keep it that way.
Full stereo re-build is in order as the last guy REALLY botched it up.. Not even sure what's going on but he had 2 5x7s, 2 6x9s, and a single 6.5 behind the seats. JVC head unit is meh, and the fronts are totally underpowered. Can't decide if I want to just let it ride with 6x9s or if I want to get busy with a sub in the trunk... I should probably save all the weight I can with what little power I have.
