1991 RX-7 13B N/A- --Help Me Build This Car!--
I am a new member to this site, however I have found it has been very useful for information...therefore, so I would like some advice!!
I have a 1991 Mazda RX7 13B Non-Turbo with 82k. About 6 months ago I lost compression on the highway- I am assuming that it is the apex seals, or fuel filter, or something else (idk), but I am not savvy in taking the engine apart, nor do I want to get charged out the a** by going to a dealership and not have the problem fixed.
I plan on keeping this car for a very long time and I intend on investing money into it in order to make it a "dream car". The car, for the most part, is completely stock. I plan on working on this car over the next couple years. In the end I plan on putting in ~20k-25k (just to give an idea of how much I am willing to spend). In the end, I want a fun car, well it is already fun, but you get the point I'm trying to get across. I just want to add that I love the rotary engine, so please do not suggest a LS1 swap.
Few questions:
1- Can anyone recommend a worthy place to take a rotary engine/RX7 in Columbus, OH?
2- Is it worth rebuilding the 13B that I currently have in it if I want a lot of power?
3- Is it possible to convert from a 13B N/A to a 20B turbo? How does that work?
4- Should I buy a crate engine and build it myself (with the help of a mechanic obviously)?
5- What needs to be done to switch from a non-turbo to a turbo engine?
6- Can someone suggest what I should do (stepwise) to build this car? (for example: engine first, then suspension, etc.)
I want to thank everyone in advance for their input!! Will post pictures of car soon and progress pics as I begin to build this car!

Welcome to the Forum and since every question you have asked is already available I am sure you can find the info you seek with a little reading.
This section is strictly a meet and greet area so ANY Tech or mechanical Questions will NOT be answered.(that is unless you wanna break rules posted at the top of this Section and then just have the whole intro disappear.)
You only get "welcome to the Forum" here.
Sit back, relax, grab a coffee and take in some info..Trust me,I did that for about a year.I'm still reading new stuff 10 years later!
