1985 RX-7 Project
I'm Chris Ward from Poulsbo, WA and it's wonderful to meet so many RX-7 enthusiasts. Scanning over the board, I can see that this board is a treasure trove of information for a newbie like myself.
So, in short, my dad purchased a 1985 S from a local junkyard a few years back. At the time, he was told it had simply died on the side of the road, then been sent to the yard. Figuring it might be an easy fix, he bought it for $100 and towed it home. He played with it for a few weeks, trying to coax it back to life, then covered it up as a project to be left to retirement.
Flash forward to this summer. I've been at home for a good deal of time, and my dad finally retired, so we decided to try again. It's as simple as that. I'll save our technical problems for a later post.
