Hello
Me (Calista), and my boyfriend (Kyle) are picking up an '85 GSL. Won't be able to get it home for a bit, but it's ours. We're kind of new to the idea of rotary engines, but we do have a couple of people in Kelowna who know what they're doing.

I do believe that it's a stock engine, not too sure yet. The body is in really good condition. Hopefully I'll get some pictures up soon-ish. There's a couple of spots of rust, and the clear coat is coming off a little bit, but it's not too bad at all. Kind of a light blue-grey color. The only thing it needs to get it driving again is a clutch slave, which we have lined up for it pretty quick, so it shouldn't take too long.

Plans for it are to just keep it how it is, maybe figure out how to get a little more power out of it, and just have fun with it.

Welcome! The bad news is with your new toy you'll be itching to take it out for some fun and spring is so far away. The good news is that it gives you lots of time to do any work on it that it needs and when you do take it out for the first time in the spring it will be a blast!

Good Luck!

Luke

Haha, Thanks

We get to pick it up in a week from today, so we're pretty excited. We might throw some winter tires on it and play through the winter before fixing it up, just because we're in the middle of town and haven't had much snow yet. Hopefully it stays that way!
