Actually we'll have two. Eric's 85' is a total project car, and we're treating it as such. Everything that comes off will be replaced (in time) with a high performance counterpart. We're taking it slow, learning about each part and it's relation to a rotary engine, knowing full well that this car wont be drivable for quite some time. And that's the point. By the time Eric is ready to drive this car, it will be show worthy (at least that's the plan) and as fast and nimble as anything a young man could want in a first car.

Mine is a 79' with 40k on the new engine and less then 500 miles on the rebuilt nikki. I bought it from a fine gentleman who's also on this board from time to time who has taken better care of a car this age than anyone I've ever met. Most cars built in 79 have long since been recycled into dishwashers and pots and pans sold at the dollar store. I believe I'll have this fine SA up and running in no time flat (it has been sitting for a while but NOT neglected!) Over time I'll be turning this car into the head turner it's destined to be.

So that's a bit of the back story of Eric and Leks (my first name's Courtland BTW)

PS: We'll definately get more pictures up as we get them uploaded.

2 of the things on my Christmas list are a new Holley carburetor or a new exhaust.
