My friend finally came over after months of promises and finished my engine bay, and all for free

I got scared at first cause it looked orange but after more coats and then finally the clear, it turned out exactlly how I wanted.... bright red!!!! Looks even better in the sun

Very Nice....Are you chroming anything, or polishing anything from your engine? Cause That would look even more pimp

why of course!! I think everything's going to be either polished or chromed except the block, steering rack, brake booster, you know stuff like that. I'm in the process of polishing my intake manifold but that takes lots of man hours, not as simple as one from the stock 3rd gen rotary engines

Very nice!!! You're right though, it does look like a bright red/orange. Does the color match your car? (I'm asking because the picture may not show the proper color of your car).

Is your friend going to redo the entire car (not just the engine)?

Gee, thanks for the compliments guys!! I just wanted to get the engine bay painted first so I could throw the engine in and work on that. Yes, the car will be painted the same color as the engine bay. I just didn't like the stock VR color and very few FD's are bright red.
