xm satellite radio???

crutchfield now has the completle setup for 50-70 bucks!! who's runnin this stuff? is it worth it! my stations here are limited to crap so i was wondering if its worth the monthly payment and if ya really get the good reception and commercial free as promised? feedback welcome!

i am getting 1 for my b-day this friday and all i can say is my bro has 1 and went to vegas and got perfect reception and never skipped a beat. the only thing i wonder if u have a set of racing spark plug wires will the radio with it be affected when u get xm or is it separate

I run XM in my semi truck... don't know how I'd keep my sanity without it. Definitely worth the monthly fee if you're in your car much. FM sucks these days... go satellite. Just make sure to get a clean install... some of these setups can really look like crap (wires, antennas, you know...). Reception is excellent if you can follow instructions (don't mount antenna inside)... you won't get reception in tunnels and sometimes (but rarely) when you're beside a really, really big hill. But really not worth mentioning. FM must die.
