WTK-How To Remove Factory CD Player

I just got a factory replacement cd player from another forum member. Are there any tricks some of you would like to share on how to remove the old cd player, without damaging it or the surrounding area ? I was fiddling around with it and I became fustrated. It seems like you need a couple of more hands if you don't have the proper removal tool(s).
Thanks,
K.C.

theres this tool to make the job a breeze. its two U shaped wires that inserts into two little holes on each side. you put it in and you slide it out. sorry i dont know the name of the tool but this is where somone chimes in.

It is pretty easy to make one of the tools with a bent coat hanger, you need the tool or make the coat hanger version.

The problem comes with pulling the stereo, it is usually pretty stuck in there. I always end up pulling the heat surround so I can get my hands back there to help push it out.

If you have a WalMart nearby, they have 'em for around $3.
