I have been looking at changing my headlights. Would like to know if the kits on ebay are a good buy yet. The whole headlights assembly. Only thing im worried about is the wiring and if the kit would plug up into it

I have not personally tried the HID kits, and it would depend on how the kit is built as to whether it would even be useful or not.

Without a directed projector for the HID bulb the light will be super bright and dispersed, mostly shining in other drivers eyes. Likely to get harassed by cops, too.

I have yet to see a 7" round lamp that houses an adequate projector. It seems to me that if there truly were one out there we would be seeing a lot more of them showing up.

I have had good experience with the Hella housings for H4 bulbs, and GREAT experience with OSRAM Night Breaker bulbs. Note: Sylvania is not the same as OSRAM. Sylvania can be considered the cheapo USA line of German OSRAM.

All that said - could you post a pic of the eBay lights you're talking about? (Direct links break after a short time and make search results useless in a year)
