thats bitching, your car is extremely clean. I like the way u set up your interior. Did u make that box yourself? What kind of amps are you using? yea im with ocelet, keep that thing stealth. Get a dark tint and a car alarm.

didn't set me back too much.. (little over a grand..).. got the alarm, getting the 2.5% 2x limo black as soon as ppl stop screweing me around and i get an ac condensor... (can't roll down the windows for three days... painful in LA).

It's all Memphis gear... a 5ch memphis belle. A hybrid a/b running 75x4 and a class d runing 1100w into 4 subs at 1 ohm...2 farads of caps keep me running.... it's too loud though... i can't do it..

built the box with a friend (5/8" mdf... tried to save a little weight from 3/4".. not much)

Thanks on the interior complement.. i don't like the apexi meter's mount. They're going above the rear-view (got me a triple gauge pod going there.. .

there cars are like magnets for money... sheesh..

Whoa that IS pretty crazy. You sure it won't blow out the rear window when it's turned up? Other than that it looks sweet.

Now I understand why you didn't need that non-bose hatch cover! (very nice cover BTW, thanks).
I'm interested in seeing your apexi's mounted above the rear view, I've often thought of making some sort of overhead console, but it'd have to be pretty small.
Looks good though!

Why didnt you center the subs in the enclosure?? That looks crappy.

Memphis what knock-off company is that?

Dude there is no way he is gonna blow the hatch glass are you kidding me. I would put money on it that it wont be "that loud". I have installed and designed stereos in cars for about 12 years now so I am not just some *******.

BTW you should have used the 3/4" not the 5/8" it has much better reverb qualities and gives a much deeper sound.

Oh yeah the screw quantity is way over kill. You used liquid nails which is good but you only need a few screw to hold her together while the liquid nails setup.

Peace
Mike

limo tint won't be too much, probably 200 for them to tint it and rip off that ugly chrome tint....

nah, i won't blow the window, though i can flip my cell phone twice on the roof....

yeah, i'm thinking of fiberglassing some sort of pod around it, but i though of mounting them to the window. That gauge pod is beautiful... i love it...

lt1rx7.. I'm going to ignore you and pretend you didn't say that because i don't want this post to become a flame war, but to answer your questions: they looked better in their positions, and they are centered in the enclosure. Memphis is NOT a knock-off company, you just haven't heard of them bc they can't be bought online and have to be sold at a licensed retailer (not very many), the box uses small enough cuts and angles that 5/8" holds up well (reverb my ***), and there is lots of liquid nails there.

There is no such thing as "peace" when you're an *******. I'm adding you to my block list now.

Easy killer I didnt mean to get you all fired up. It just looks like the subs arent centered because of the screws. I know you used liquid nails I can see that and I said that was good.

I havent heard of memphis they may be good just never heard of them.

The one thing I will say is the 5/8" WILL vibrate and will hurt your performance because it will interfere with the cone. Not a ton just will a little.

On the limo tint thing if you are in the military dont take it on post. It is against regulations to use that type of tint on army posts.

How is old ft polk doing anyway??

I was just pointing some stuff out (just a little constructive criticism from one army guy to another), good luck I hope it sounds good.

Mike
BTW PLEASE DONT BLOCK ME I WOULD BE CRUSHED!!! haha jk
