Window Trim (FC)
To take then off, just lift up. They shouldn't be screwed down. I replaced the ones on my S5 late last year. I just ended up buying new ones from Mazda, they were about $60 a piece
. but the new ones are plastic so they wont flake or rust. If you dont want to spend $120 I've heard of others sanding them off and painting them Plasti Dip, you should be able to find it at Napa.

I took mine off , sanded, then hit it with a can of bumber coating I got at Autozone.
Cost - $3.50
Time - 20 min (not including time to dry)
Pretty easy to get off, just like Psygnosis7 said just lift up at the back end of it then slide out from under the mirror.

Blackdragon might be a bit cheaper than direct from the dealer if your looking for replacements. OEM is the only replacement you can get. If you do not want to go that route just sand prime and repaint
