Window tint on lexan?
yeah i know its an oxymoron in ways, but i have a FAL lexan rear window.. My FD is black, no AC, and in CA window tint helps alot for interior temps and for some looks as well. Anyways, i heard tint doesnt adhere to lexan properly for a few different reasons and will bubble/do all kinds of wierd ****. Is this true? Anyone have experience on doing it correctly or had total fails which ruined the lexan's clarity? I just want to know up front rather than ruining my $500+ window when i could sell it in good condition and buy glass again. i can deal with sacrificing 10lbs in lieu of F-in up a perfectly good FAL lexan window that was back ordered for DDDAAYYYSSSS when i initially inquired about mine. thanks

If the lexan is treated with a hardcoat, then you can tint it. FAL and speedglass are treated, that's why they resist scratches better and can be tinted.
I tinted mine over a year ago, but it has only been outside about 7-10 times since then. No problems with the tint so far.
