I'm liking the sound and price point of these speakers. If anyone can tell me if they'll fit I appreciate it. Right now, I am undecided, but would like to fit the 6.5 VR components if possible.

I have the stock "non-Bose" setup currently.

Looking at initially running them with a Alpine 7894 (60x4). At some point I may upgrade with an external amp and would like the speakers to be able to benefit from the additional power.

Any recommendations or insight are certainly welcome!

you really dont have to worry about the diameter when installing the front speakers its the depth u gota worry about.

 

I ok - so what is the mounting depth... It's not published...

 

like, just over 2", and i DON'T mean 2.25". I took out the mounting brackets, cut the backing to fit my 3" componants, and $hi7, the window no longer opened. Well, started from square 1 in my speaker search.
