Talking Wide body conversion(FC)

I would like to do a wide body conversion on my FC. The car is track only, and I want to fit 17x9.5" rims all the way around with 275-40-17s. I may go with 255-40-17s in the front if there is a much cheaper fender that will fit those.
Choices I am aware of at a reasonable price;
tripoint-1000.00 full kit
Corksport front(BNR)-375.00
panspeed/cs blisters(dont know what I gain with these)
Japco-front only, don't know how much wider than stock
feed- front only-400.00
In a nutshell I'm hoping to find something like the Tripoint for a little less money.
I already own the 17x9.5 rims (rear rims off my SupraTT)
Any input/insight is appreciated. Carl Byck

I'd love to see the RE fender, the BN (not bnr) fender is the one Corksport copied, 375.00 a pair. I will probably go with the BN/CS front, unless the RE is much wider(>30mm) The rears are my challenge. I currently have 235-40-17s on a17x8 rim, so I should be able to fit the 255-40-17 up front on the 17x9.5 rim assuming the offsets work. What other choices are there besides Tripoint in a bond on rear, or a blister rear fender for the FC? Carl Byck

Inukai,

How much are the RE-A wide body or overfenders? Is it the same one that is on the FC (from Tokyo Auto Salon)?

https://www.rx7club.com/forum/showth...hreadid=148592

Also, how much is the hood? (I'm expecting a large tax return this season...hahahaha)

I believe those are Panspeed overfenders, 105/pair from Corksport(copies). They have been moulded in on the RE car. Regards, Carl

inukai, do you know if they used the panspeed fender flares to make the RE-A custom fenders, and also do you know how they made the rear fender flares?

He told me that the fender flares in the front were custom made. He didn't mention if they were Panspeed or not.

I don't think that the rear is flared. (But I could be wrong, due to the angle of the picture).

You can get those front fender flares from rotaryextreme.com

however chuck said that RE-A will not sell just the front fender flares. You must buy the whole kit, its an entire fender replacement... cost is 2000 USD.

He recommended the panspeed one to me... I have not seen the panspeed one so i can not say what they look like.

Hi

We offer just fenders. Not only the whole kit.
If you want, I can offer you just the right side of the fender.

By the way, the car above is our race buddy YAMAJI's car.
The fender of the pic is specially made.
If some people want to get the fenders,
I will tell FRP staff to make them.

PM me.

Panspeed makes just the flares and also a whole fender. I saw one before with the PANSPEED flares and they filled in the holes after the mouting and painted, looked SWEET!
