About 1/2 the FCs I see have no flash to pass (FTP) lenses. Why? I can see not having the passenger's side lens if you're trying to get cold air into the intake, but these cars are missing both lenses.

Since my FC is a gutted track toy I've been thinking of ditching the pop-ups for weight savings. Anyone use those tiny little rectangular lamps like GM loves in the FTP lens holes?

 

I haven't seen the GM style lights in the FTP spot, but thats pretty creative. Personally I light the flip-ups. I have also seen many FCs minus the FTPs I think it looks better and more symmetrical than just one out. I like the ones that have taken the lenses out and put little grills in there instead

 

Mine were all nasty looking so I took them out. lol

 

I'd rather have no FTP's that just one, or even two shitty ones... Eventually I'll be going with the CP lights anyways...

 

new FTP are nice, alot of people are just too cheap to get them

they say none looks good, but if they got some new ones they would probably change thier tune, kind of like new window moldings

 

I took mine out when i first bought that car, then after while it kinda looke dlike it was a wreck, I prefer them with ftp's, or custom ones that were cut similar to the ones u can buy for a miata with vents in them

 

i took mine out because they were horrible.. and then i realized one had a broken stud.. so i didnt bother buffing them back to new.. about 18 months later i finally got a good pair and sanded em and buffed em.. and now they are back in there.. all is well.
