Cool why all rx7 93+ wide kits looks like absolute ***?

here they are:

- $3.5k (Amemiya 2002 GT) - ugly

- $3.5k (Amemiya 2001GT) - looks same

- $15k (VeilSide Fortune kit) - sides is not so bad, but price...

- Anubis Curve rx7 - "batmobile" pretty fine but too jaggy, [1]who know the price?

- $2k (GTP® FRP Type 791) - almost unusable, close to beauty in some ways

- [2]who know what is this? looks good, but not perfect yet.

[3]so, who can show any other wide kit?

It's look like I should order somthing custom, couse markets offers is so far to perfect.
[4]Who know places where custom kits may be made?

Have you seen the Burnout FD? I think it looks sexy, althought its like 5k. Not bad for a widebody. its the KDI Type II from KS-Auto.

yes, I saw it, but this one is not fully wide, it's seems to be "fendered", though almost all other is "fendered" too :(

this photo is really wild sexy-

What do you consider a WIDEBODY then? the only difference in the BURNOUT and any of the other kits above maybe it doesnt have a WIDE front bumper.

HELL its not like the kits have wider doors and windows.

This is the best looking FD kit EVER!. As for Pettit, Burnout and FEED, I don't think they are true widebody kits. Just because it has flares doesn't make it a widebody.

IMO, the RE Amemiya 2001GT wide kit looks absolutely amazing. If you kinda like the look of the RE-A kit but dont want it too over the top, the FEED kit is pretty much like it just more subtle in its wideness.

That orange RE-Amemiya Wide body kit is possibly the best actual wide body kit for the RX7 that actually adds about 2 inches of fender width to the car. Plus i love how wide and low that car is. Take a look. Its the top left picture. Amazing.

Does anyone else notice the misconception of wide body versus flared?

Obviously not. I posted this and it was given the cold shoulder.

Yea I know there's a very big diff, but I figured I'd include both, as some people may mean both, not realizing the difference between the two.

Oh and if that Border kit isn't a widebody kit, I don't know what is... heck, it's so wide, it looks like it's an overweight FD (If you haven't seen better pics of it from diff angles, the whole front bumper is MUCH wider than stock, and the fenders are MUCH wider as well. The skirts blend into rear quarters and a rear bumper that are also much wider than stock. It's just huge all over...but very smooth)

My buddy Harrison (vspecpgt) has a pretty nice wide body. It's made by Kazama, I think it's spelled that way. Here are some pics. He won best FD in Rotor Fest up in New Jersey this year.

Border widebody, Yes. The Burnout kit, No. Isn't Burnout made by Border or Knightsport anyway?

Wow...that's Harrison's FD? I remember when I saw his FD back in the day at a meet in MD...maybe 2 years ago. Had no idea he went w/ a widebody kit. Looks sick!

Burnout is by KS Auto. Maybe you have "KS" confused for "Knightsports," which coincidentally is often abbreviated as "KS" ? I don't think they're the same, but I have no solid info about that. The website doesn't say anything about it (that I can read )

I remember seeing that blue FD on the forums awhile ago. Unforunately, I remember he got flamed because of his FD looking the way it is. Then, recently, I saw his car in a magazine. It's an awesome car. I can't see why people would flame him for it.
