I put mine in the bin behind the drivers seat. It worked out really well as i have nothing else to use the bins for.

alright thanks for the sugggestions. I'm kind of looking for more of a hidden place but still easy to access. don't really want to drill holes into the bins to mount it though

possibly under the seat or behind it? you're probably going to have to bolt it in wherever you put it, so be ready to mount it with drill, wrench and screwdriver in hand.

in two fd's, the best place i've found is either a.) in rear bin (convenient to get to, and hidden, or b.) in the rear hatch facing the divider (so you can change from the driver's seat. the stealthiest install is the bin.. is it a 6, 10, or 12? That will influence where you can mount it. (I know i fit a pioneer 12 disc in the bin... but it was a tight fit...

Just put it in the bin. it only takes one little hole to get the wire out. very easy to do and if you put the hole in the bottom then if you decide to take it out then you can just put the stock bin carpet piece in there and youd never notice.
Easy install
Convinent
Hidden
Doesnt take up hatch space

Why would you want it anywhere else?
