where to get container to replace bose headunit?

Does anybody know where I can get a container similar to that in the non-bose model cars under the headunit? I recently replaced my bose headunit/cd player dual din with a single din and now have an empty slot to fill. I've also heard about the saab panel, but would rather have the container to mount stuff in.

go to the junkyard and get one out of a ford. the ford attachment points are the same, so it should plug right in. thats what i'm going to do.

Or a Mazda dealer.
He should have some fitting in.

Do you want to get rid of your Bose head-unit/cd-player?
Do they work?

Regards

I actually have two head units (one bose, one not) and one stock cd player. The head units both work, except one of them has this intermitent but awful squealing sound when listening to the radio. The CD player had a skipping problem, probably the mechanism is misaligned or something but it didn't seem worth fixing.

I'd consider getting rid of them if somebody wants them, especially for a good trade...

Oh, and the antenna cables and possibly the ground have been clipped so they may take some clever rewiring to put them back in.

Hi Jayk,

I need a fully function 1-CD-deck.
I will have to find a factory FD headunit in Germany because the antenna wiring is different to the others.
