i am looking to scrap the battered and beaten factory carpet. i want to get some new carpet. is tehre anywhere that i can buy a set that will fit in teh original fasteners and look really good?

I don't think you even want to price a new carpet from mazda, last I heard I think it was 1k+. gmonsen had some place redo his carpet really nice for like $800.00 or so. Do a search you should find something on it.

*edit* I didn't realize you had a FC, I heard it was 1k+ for FD carpet new. Also you might still want to try a search though

check e-bay, there is someone who sells carpets for FC's and FB's for under $200, about $140 if my memory is right, been a couple weeks since I've checked.
I've seen them on e-bay many times, so you'll most likely find it

as mentioned in the other thread in 2nd gen forum, the T2 is the same interior as the GXL.
