I've been looking around localy for stero wire and every place I go has it for $1.50 per foot. (I need 10 and 12 guage wire, in nice colors) Its ok to pay that if your using a few feet, but I need like 20 feet. I've looked at the local small stero shops, and places like Circuit City, Best Buy, etc..

Do you guys know of a place to get it cheeper?

 

you could always try ebay, or some online place, but you would probabily have to buy a spool of like 150 feet or something. Radio shack maybe?

 

home depot... its like 1.50 / metre for 12 gauge stuff..... that is the thickest they have

 

I bought mine at Lowe's, just have it cut by the foot. Get the thickest lamp cord they carry.

12 gauge speaker wire .99 cents a ft

8 gauge power wire .99 cents a ft

 

you could always just use the cheap stuff and then connect the coolstuff where you see it.
