When I bought my FD it came with the 99' Spec Spoiler, it has a HUGE mountain surface on the car on both ends of the hatch.

I don't know how long it's been on there and I'm really wishing it wasn't there, I love the look of the FD without it.

Can anybody enlighten this with photos or info?

What will happen? You'll get many offers from forum members scrambling to take this off your hands. That's my prediction. Otherwise, I can't be of much help.

 

Your hatch will pop up faster? I don't know how heavy it is but I'm sure it will.
There's tons of photos of wingless 99's around.

 

what will happen? Your FD will be wingless

 

You'll have 8 holes that you will have to fill in or plug + some paint that may chip from removal and it may be miscolored as the paint under the wing was never exposed to sunlight.

After the removal then as carlb said people will want to take it off your hands...
