what seats will actually fit the fd?

Ok, I finally got rid of my lakers seats *for those who didnt know they were butt ugly purple and yellow covers on a set of stock r1 seats. Now I need seats, the cheapest i found r1 seats was 500 a pair or cloth "carbon fiber style" for 500 for the pair at a local rx7 junk yard. If im paying for new seats might as well get somthing more custom... so what aftermarket seats will fit the fd? sparco, recaro ect? What models and please dont post the RZ recaro seats lol I dont have 8000 for a set.

I've seen plenty of Sparcos in Fds. As my R-1 seats are getting worn, I was thinking about trying to aquire Rx8 seats for the 7. They are very supportive for sporty driving and much more comfortable than racing or stock 7 seats.

I have not checked yet as I just spent a bucketload on the 7 and seats are not a priority (turbos then wheels then seats and interior odds and ends), but I do plan on checking when the time comes. Sorry I can't be more of a help at this point. It was just an idea.

momo 1000 lakes. not sure if these are still made.

youre going to be paying much more than 500 a pair for pretty much any aftermarket seats.

Those knock offs look nice! But I think I'll go with the popular grey and black adjustable Sparco Torino Racing seats. They have real functionality and go with almost any color......but what's really important is the functionality!

BTW: I just noticed, but why in god's name is your car....dare I say it.....PURPLE?!

O and I know I'm being an @$$ but please clean the inside of the car........I also know no one else cares.

Godzill, those look like they sit lower than the OEM seats too. If that is the case, that would be huge for use tall guys. Do they actually sit lower, or does it just look that way.

They do sit about 2 inches lower than stock, the car isnt cleaned out because i just got done redoing the interior.. I recovered everything and the car has been sitting and being worked on for over 2 months.. the car is purple because its how I like it. If you go look at other pics of my car you will notice its not like other purple cars you see.. It actually has a cool color to it.. its Prowler purple from the plymouth prowlers. These seats are torino knockoffs that I get from a company in japan. They come in red/black blue/black, yellow/blac, grey/black and black. I was thinking about producing the rail I made and selling hte seats posibly setting up a group buy for a pair of seats and the cost it takes me to make the rails for around 515+shipping. Still working on everything..

i used jdm integra type r seats...i like them because of the fabric and the red stitching...it is a tight *** fit but after custom brackets they fit nicely...

Are the seats more comfortable than stock? Do they have lumbar support adjustment? My seats kill my back since no lumbar. Also, can they come in leather?
