what kinda spoiler should i make?

anyone got any idea on what kinda spoiler i should make, requirements would be its gotta stick out pass the body about a foot on each side and gotta be at least a foot long. It's gonna be the biggest/stupided *** looking spoiler you would ever put on a car, putting arp wings to shame!

FC 2000 style(RE) I need one for this car, but 1200.00is a little steep, ~500 and I would buy one assuming you got the pertinent dimensions off the actual wing, and copied it.

The wing on my car is not what I mean, search the FC 2000 you will see what I mean. I am about to buy the APR GT300 Carbon wing. here is a link http://www.ardperformance.com/cgi-bi...l?action=index

double post, I want something as wide as the car, the gt300 is as wide as a Supra from the pics I've seen, soS/B o'k. Yes, I want a wing like the one on the Prodrive Ferrari 550. Anyone know of a place to get the GT300 universal for less than 800.00 ?

Seems like most people who own FD's and are on this forum, would fight you on this since it's what is sterotypically referred to a "Rice" and due to some people taking this phenomenon to the extreme, is shunned by most people of reasonable age that don't want to create a GT Series Racecar... (Most of Us)......... my 2 Cents....

haha good its a joke. I'm not particularly adverse to subtle ricing... (if thats possible), but what annoys me is when people put their appearence before they even consider their cars performance...
case in point: civic w/ cut springs, full body kit, fatass three-tiered wing, fartcan muffler.

no catback... no intake... no coilovers... ******* idiots

Ah, this is for a dedicated track car in my case. additionally, it has enough power to incinerate 315 r compound tires in 2nd gear, so sorry your FD cannot utilize such a wing, my track car can. That said, I am buying the APR GT300 CF wing, 67" wide, 15" tall, with enough downforce to stop a civic cold

I would say, if you are going to the trouble, I would emulate the dimensions of a tunnel tested GT wing, such as the RE piece. In other wordsthe dimensions of the raised center, the cord length, etc are ideally car specific, If you offered a functional, car specific piece, there are some that would want it. what is involved in fabbing what you have done so far?

you should seriously make a small lip spoiler...sorta like the viper or miata lip, but nice and smooth. if i knew how to do all that carbon fiber stuff, i'd give it a go. i've heard quite a few people want something like that.
