what kind of system

Is 2 10's good for a 7? I talked to a friend and he said maybe 2 8's, but i was thinking thats a little to small. Price isn;t really an option so what are some good 10's and what type of sub box is good for a 7? I am not wanting something completely custom but i do want a nice look.

You can either do a sealed dual sub box in the hatch or else you can lose the spare tire and mount the subs there. The second way gives you alot more room to do even 12's. Definitely do at least 10's. If price isn't an issue, do either some eclipse titaniums or aluminums or else maybe some kicker solo's would be nice if you like square subs.

i think one 10 would be plenty......it's not like you're puttin this in your suburban, it's a small *** car, you shouldn't need much to 'fill' it up...

Yes.. a single 10" is enough. I've got an Infinity Reference in a QLogic box, being pushed by a small Alpine mono sub amp. You won't win any SPL contests, but it truely is enough for a first-gen. Enough to make the change in my coin tray dance, at least.

If you get a decent sub and amp all you need is one. I would suggest either a 10 or a 12 (I would choose the 12 but thats just my choice). Just be sure you get good quality stuff. And a deck that can power it all.

it depends on the type of music you play and your listening style. Do you play rock for inside the car or rap for the block?
