Rotary Extreme sells a replica of it. If you do a search, you will find some customer reviews. http://www.rotaryextreme.com/scoothood.html

Doh, you beat me.

Let me tear out my eyes and shoot myself.

I absolutly hate the scoot hood, its the most god aweful hood ever made on the face of the earth. But some people like it...

What is wrong with the hood? I think it looks okay, maybe it's a little over the edge, but i bet it cools the engine real nicely.

Venting engine bay heat (which is good for vaccum hoses), perhaps...
cooling down radiator which is what really keeps an engine cool, nope!

Actually, that particular car is local to me. It's an open track car and with that hood (and a FMIC to boot) it was tearing up the track on a day when it was around 105 degrees off the track (not sure of track temp that day).

The car didn't have ANY problems with heat. A few of the other FD's with the stock hood had to pull off earlier than what they wanted to due to rising temps.

The scoot hood may not be that attractive for everyone, but it does certainly help when it comes to keeping those coolant temps down (especially if you track the car).

But by allowing air to move from the engine bay, wouldn't that let air flow through the radiator easier?
