Prefab **** sounds horrible nine times out of then.
Say for instance you and your friend have the same stereo setup, same everything. The only difference is the box. His hits atleast twice as hard as yours. How could that be? Well, he learned how to build a box and while you're saving for a bigger set of subs or a more powerful amp, he's already satisfied with his setup.
Car audio is just like engine tuning. You have to tweak it and know what you're doing and understand how it works to get the most out of it.
Spend some time on realm of excursion or youtube checking out what people are doing with PROPER setups.
