brown body panels, yellow seats and and carbon hood would look good.ive got a shirt that is brown and yellow writing.it looks fine.of course the the seats and interior would not be supersonic yellow like some are thinking.it would be calmed down
I asked a design professor if i could use brown for a design exersize project once. He said, "Sure, so longs as its a hot, exciting brown". There is no such thing, and i used red.
True brown doesn't belong on a car like this, but i did ride in an FD convertable one (custom) that was painted a dark copper, like the color of a penny, and it had a custom tan interior with the leather much lighter than the standard mazda tan. That was an exciting car.

Buy the mocha black paint that the New Impreza STis are painted with. I think its called mocha black. Anyway, its a really deepish brown, like coffee, and it has gold flakes in it. So when the light hits, it looks incredible. I believe HOK has something similar.
Please dont paint your FD brown, thats ugly as hell especially for a nice sports car like the RX7.Well if thats what you want then get it.What about gold? That would look a hell of alot nicer than turd brown, good luck with the decision. You will have a better chance of getting into a magazine with a Gold FD than a Brown, you clown.

Don't do lime green.....
There was an FD out here near L.A. which was lime green, & Batmobile took some pics of it and posted them. I'll ask him to link 'em so you can see the horror that is Lime Green.
BTW, the lime green won't match the bumblebee interior.... too many colors going on.

Hey, I happen to like my Lime-Green FD!!
It stands out!
Hopefully, I'll be able to make it into a magazine. Say, maybe Hi-Rev Tuners will start one up and make my lime-green fd a featured car. Woohoo!
