Weird CD deck problem

Ok, this doesn't have to do with the Mazda stock CD player but my fairly new deck I installed has been acting up. When I change the volume the screen sticks, and its the same with anything else. Everything works (sound and buttons) but the display is sticky. I am just wondering if this is a wiring problem or a problem with the detachable face? Thanks for any input.

Ok, for instance, when I turn to the next song, the display freezes. The sound system turns to the next song but the display shows the song before it. This really isnt a big deal I JUST wanted to know if it was a wiring problem or a deck facec problem. Thank
Evan

What kind of deck? I had this problem with one of my Clarions a loooong time ago. Turned out it was weak connectors to the detatchable face. Cleaned with alcohol and worked fine since.
