also, what is with the hood...it doesnt look like it fits properly (passenger side...i have seen this in a couple photos recently and cant figure it out!)

 

It has shims to keep it up for heat purposes. Was popular about 3-4 years ago, but not so much on nowdays cars.

 

I fail to see the Viper-ness. I think the car is quite very badass and well-executed. Hat's off to 'im.

 

I think that looks alot better than the viper. The viper always reminded me of a hotdog. But I will stick with my INGS.....until I can get that new VSide body.

 

which came first... viper or FD? i think dodge should be sued for there close design...

How come eveyone says the viper copied the rx7? The rx7 might have been released first but the viper concept came out in 89. Thats a long time b4.

 

The RX-7 didn't just appear in 92 either...

 

those are Advan RG wheels(rims) with Dunlop Formula R semi slicks. somewhat similar to A048s

 

I think the wing is very unique.. sideskirts sit a tad low for my taste.. Not real hot on the front, but not bad.. Hood is tolerable.. Wheels are BADASS.. Rear diffuser is nice to.. Although I like the RE one better..

And the Viper and FD designs were done very close to the same time.. 89ish. Who really cares what came out first? Both cars merely utilize a design that WORKS (As with the C5). No harm done there.. Are we going to say that all cars copied off the Model A by using wheels, fenders and a hood? Or every band that uses a G/D chord progression copied off the band before them? Come on people... Let off the FD godlyness for a bit will ya? It's just a good design..

Geez everyone loves to bash.

The owner bought the car like that and so he is basically forced to leave the kit on (and doesn't like it). He said he's going to get a new kit soon.

 

I'd keep it if I were him... It's clean. That's what it's about!

 

I found a couple of these bumpers on a Japanese auction site but no one will ship internationaly...Anyone live in Japan that could pick these up and ship them?
