undress the seat

hi guys...

does anyone have the direction to undress the original FD3S seats ?
my leather is going to the bin... i need to take it out to redo the leather....

any advise? i can't find any detail from the workshop manual or body manual or any manual....

I just took the leather off of the lower part that you sit on to remove a bunch of the foam to have a lower seating position. There are a bunch of brass or copper wires that secure the leather to the rest of the seat. With a pair of pliers you can bend them open to release and then re-use them when you put it back together, I had no issues bending mine back after I was done cutting the foam. Didnt mess with the back part but I would assume its similar. The only other part was a couple of those plastic push in things like other parts of the interior.

seems like the seat back would be fairly more involved, bottom doesn't seem so bad.
