Tips on routing wire from door to headunit
I plan on routing my speaker wire from my door through the rubber wire cover thingy. Was thinking i would need to pull it through from the car side with like a hanger or long ziptie or something. Anyone want to share their tips on doing this?

I detached the rubber hose from the door and from the body of the car. (It has a little clips you have to press to detach) Then with a piece of hanger wire I carefully pushed it down the hose. Once it was through I taped the wires to the tip of the hanger and pulled the wires up the hose slowly. Then stick your head under the dash and see where the wires come into the cabin and pull your wires through there. Then reattach the rubber hose to the door and body. It's very easy, you just have to be careful not to puncture the soft rubber or break the brittle plastic clips that hold it attached to the door and the body of the car.

Yeah at work (sound advice) I use a LONG zip tie, and either tape the wires to it or drill a hole in the end of the zip tie and put a small zip tie though the whole and close it to make a loop, sounds more complicated then it is. the boot in the 2nd gen isnt that easy to get through if you dont get it right away keep trying lol
