Time for some bass...

I'm finally going to do something about the lack of bass in my first gen. This will be a temporary setup, until I can get off my *** and finish the stealth boxes for two 8's. Just wondering what everyone's opinion on my possible setup is. I'm looking at an Inifinity Reference 10", QLogic sealed enclosure and for the amp, an Alpine MRP-M200. It's not of the V12 series, but uses a lot of the same internals. I think it's called a V-Drive or something. The amp is rated at 150x1 RMS at 4 ohms. I know Alpine is a respected name, so their amps are probably underrated, rather than those $150 Profile's that claim 600 watts. Now, this is a budget system, and I don't want some great, grand, top of the line equipment, as it'll probably get stuffed in my winter beater after I finish the FB properly. I just want to know if anyone's got any experience with any of these components or better recommendations for same or slightly more/less cash? Thanks,

--Danny

MRP-M200 IS A GREAT AMP TO USE FOR YOUR NEEDS
USE THE ALPINE S SERIES 10 DVC IT IS A BETTER WOOFER.
USE VERY SMALL BOX .3-.6 SEALED IN THE HATCH

Already got the amp and sub I mentioned.. works wonderful... except for that damned QLogic box that came with it. I've gotta pull the sub out, fill the screwholes in it, and start again... getting an air leak through at least one of them..
