Can you just unbolt the sliders from the old seats and attach them to the aftermarket seats? I keep seeing "universal sliders" or what not, and I remember the seats in my T2, and how the hardware was kinda screwy... So, what's the deal?

No, you have to adapt them. You can buy seats that have premade mounts if you wish. (Mazdaspeed, Bride)

My old Mazdaspeeds came with their own rails. Bought the FC mounts and the bolted right in.
