is there an aftermarket hood w/ grills?
okay, I searched, am tired, dont care right now, but wanted to ask. May lightning strike me dead for mentioning the movie, but the Bomex hood on Liebermans' Supra from F&F, no vents or scoops, but has 4 grills on it for heat ventillation. Are there any fd hood like this out there? I would Love to put a fiberglass hood on(never been a big fan of the carbon fiber look), and black grills would not show up much on a black hood(black fd)...just curious....

Not much air flow at all...I got rid of mine. As for the hood, just get someone to stamp some holes in it. All you have to do is get your patterns down and take it to a body shop. It'll be a lot cheaper than purchasing one.
Closest one I've found to just have vents is the Knightsports hood.

I saw a thread where a guy tested the water temp dif of the stock hood and aftermarket CF vented hood and he said he would drive it to work and when he got there (same air temp on both days) he would check his water temp and I guess it was only 3 to 4 degrees cooler... not worth getting a new hood IMO, just stap out the stock one.
