I would think that doing this to everything but the door panels would be okay and last a very long time. The door panels just get too much action for paint to hold up.

I prefer tan over black, so I don't have to deal with it, only have to deal with getting made fun of for liking tan better.

Yeah, I got to admit, I am not even considering doing this to my interior. it looks good, and even though its only a surface coating, I bet it'll last a long time. I have seen some hack jobs for "painting" the interior with plastic paints. This is something you have to take your time with. No rushing, just pure patience...

The tan isnt so bad, and although I plan on swapping to black the seats and panels never bothered me that much the worst part is the carpet in 93's, that is straight **** brown, so ugly.

I stand by what I said. If you don't like tan interior...fine, but that still doesn't mean it's "****". Your idea that it's better just because YOU, or a hundred others, like it better shows how small minded you are. If I disagree that's my choice and my right and I could really care less what you think. Beyond that, if black interior is your "best mod ever" well that's not something I'd brag about. I'd rather put that $500-$1000 into my motor, stereo, suspension, brakes or something else that actually improves the performance of this fine machine, not just something pleasing to my own eye and I definitely wouldn't try to convince everyone else that the original was "****" just because I like something else. Or maybe you too went the spray-can method, which speaks volumes in itself. I don't take short cuts on my car. If I can't afford to have REAL black interior then I will just leave it as is, but it so happens that I just like the contrast between the black/tan. Trust me, eventually the paint will wear and will require touch up. Either way, at least I won't sit here and tell your your way is **** because I couldn't care less about what you do to your car. Besides, that would make me a hypocrite.

One other thing...there was once another guy who had an idea and he too tried to convince the world his way was the only way and everyone elses opinions were "****". His name was Hitler.

I've grown to love my tan interior, but yeah, the carpet always gets disgusting I wish just the carpet was black

Its opinion and preference.

You like your tan interior so you keep it. Others keep it because its hard to source REAL black interior parts and/or dont want to paint their tan parts to save money.

In MY opinion, its ugly. Thats why i changed it.

You like yours, so you keep it.

Its like gay people. They think theres nothing wrong with being gay.

Doesnt make them correct.

All preference.
