Supra style hood cut-outs?
Okay, not tooutrage anyone with the mention of the MKIV but I need to know if anyone has done this or has any pics of these symmetrical hood cut-outs to dissipate heat, thus converting out easy-bake ovens into a viable engine compartment. I have talked to a few people that have added louvers but I am not too keen on the bubbly looking hood and my car is black, so I figure if I added some cut-outs and put a fairly dense screen over it it would be moderately hard to notice.
Thanks

Oh yeah and nocab, I was actually looking into modifying the stock hood to save cash and achieve the same affect. I am not too into the crazy non-stock looking hoods, although there are a few that remain somewhat tasteful.

Im not sure about the rice thing. If I put Efini badges on my 7 is it rice? I mean its not efini because im not in Japan... As far as putting something on a stock hood to get more cool air in my oven, I mean engine compartment, I dont think its rice... just inovative...

I cut a big hole and grated it up on my TII. It kinda looks like the 02 WRX WRC. It is very helpful with cooling, especially at high speeds. I also vented a hood. Look on 240sx.org thats where I got the idea. For some fiberglass and time youll get an asome hood. Drift style. Anyway function over form for me, depends on you I guess.
