Ok, the other day I was driving my FD and got the idea of opening up the roof (no glass roof)

I pushed the button on the back side "open", roof flaps up like it should, no prob.

Then I push the button at the front to first close and then slide back. roof closes but it doesn't slide back. Just a zooming noise of an electric engine but no movement.

What can this be?

 

You press the same button twice for it to slide back. Try pressing the open button once to lift it and then again to slide it back.

 

Thanks, I only got the car for a fw weeks and only had the chance to drive it twice so forgive me for asking such dumb questions

 

It's all good. I couldn't figure out how to open up the gas door when I first got mine

 

that's kind of an issue when you're low on fuel ;-)
