how much would the hard ware be for a sun or moon roof? and is it worth the price.

Yeah lots of people are looking for hardtops to race - sell it and get a vert or sunroof model from the factory

 

isn't it very hard to do so? just like 86GXL said buy one with sunroof

 

Seriously, should you want to put in your own sunroof it would cost:

$200 complete working, clean assembly or sun roof

$150 for the new ceiling of car so it has a hold for the sun roof

$1,000+ for shop to cut into structure perfectly for it to fit and make room for tracks.

$?? amount you lost by your leaky roof ruining your personal belongs.


A few people have added this option and they say it leaks no matter what.

Best bet is buy a new one without sunroof. Yours well sell really well, I think only certain rare models had no sun roofs.
