Subs In Vert (will they fit?)
Ive descided to build a custom box for the well under the rear hatch to house a 10" sub. I still am looking for some good instructions onhow to build these boxes in that space!
Ive descided to go with one 10 for starters to see how i like it but will most likely get an amp that will be able to power two if I decide to make another on the other side.
From my reading it is my understanding that a combination of subs (i.e. 2 rather than 1 will hit alot harder than 1) I am thinking about mounting the amp in the trunk perhaps up agaisnt the back wall.
Ive seen 10's fit in the custom built boxes underneith the hatch but what about say, 12's, will they fit also?
I want some good bass but like my music clear and hard hitting rather than just BBBBBAAAAAAAAAAAASSSSSSSSSS
what do u think?
would i be looking at a 4 channel amp to power two tens presuming I am running my 4 speakers off of the head unit?

all you need is a 2 channel amp for 2 subs. if you want to run your component speakers off an amp you would be better off getting another amp. but then you need to look at capacitors and maybe an alternator upgrade. make sure you have a good battery. that kind of stuff adds up and can get expensive. i have probably spend around 1300 for all my stereo stuff.

no problem. i love stereo stuff. i would help out anyone that needs information. i hate that "do a search" line. everyone has individual applications and needs individual help. if you were close i would install everything for you. hey, wanna drive down to georgia? hehe.
