Stormy Blue Mica?

Has anyone painted their FD this colour before? I'm thinking of getting a repaint soon and I might go with this colour, its uber hot! Couple shots for those who haven't seen it.

Anyone have any suggestions for colours similar to this? I mainly want a darker blue that has flake that really pops when the light hits it.

Have you seen IBM in person? Don't be fooled by the pictures you see on the internet, when I saw IBM in person I was surprised at how much darker and better it looked in person. Then again, anything you see in person looks better than what it is in pictures

Winning Blue?

Very flashy when clean though (you're an autopian so it's probably going to be flashy at all times).

Thats a deceiving picture, my friend had a Winning Blue Mazda 3 for awhile and it was MUCH lighter than that RX8.

I doubt it, but if your looking for a really deep blue then IBM is not it. IBM is darker in person than what it looks like in pictures though. I was never really a fan of the IBM when I saw it in pictures but when I saw it in person for the first time I was impressed. A few people have painted their FD"s in the 350z blue.

The stormy blue looks pretty dark headed towards a navy blue. The Daytona blue from the 350z is more a royal blue. IBM is darker then the Daytona blue on the 350. Corvette has a nice Electron blue similar to the 350z also.

It is all in which shade you prefer.

I'd reccomend Innocent Blue Mica or Toyota's Royal Saphire Pearl

On that note, when did you get an FD? Last I heard, you left your N/A FC out in the middle of the street and it got stolen...
